Reidmount classes have gone virtual!
Owing to the sudden closure of school facilities in mid-March 2020 as per the province's emergency directives on COVID-19, Reidmount's team rose to the tremendous challenge to find workable solutions for students to continue learning with minimal disruption. We hired consultants to do a feasibility study and adopted their recommendation to go virtual learning.
E-learning was foreign to management and most of the teachers. However, in a few short weeks, the team embraced the challenge and took on the onerous task and deployed interactive online learning successfully, ahead of public schools and other private institutions to recommence classes so that students could continue learning with some normalcy.
We appreciate all the parents who have been patient in assisting their children to navigate the video conferencing platform.
Given the health crisis is ongoing, Reidmount will continue to run classes virtually until further notice.
